Job Description

Switch is looking for a Project Manager to work with our platform development team. This is a senior role and the
suitable applicant will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities and the abiltity to manage a large number of projects and resources.
 

The person appointed to this position will be expected to work with the CTO to manage and co-ordinate these projects.  All internal and outsourced resources will report to the Project Manager.

Description of Duties:

  • Project administration and reporting
  • Direction of all internal and contracted personnel
  • Co-ordinate with the CTO in the design, architecture and specifications of development tasks
  • Preparation of specifications and other technical documentation required by the development team 
  • Planning and resourcing 
  • Planning for QA and testing 

Qualifications, education and Experience

  • Sound and comprehensive experience in project management
  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must have a comprehensive understanding of cloud based software architecture and Microsoft development technologies. Other development technologies would be helpful but are not essential. 
  • The ideal candidate will have either a comprehensive understanding or a deep interest in home or building automation, energy management and/or renewable energy sources.
