Video Intercom & Access Control

Switch Communications incorporates front door video intercom into the touch-screen interface. Gone are the days of having an expensive touch-screen on the wall alongside the conventional video intercom handset.

The Switch Control system can be programmed to initiate a series of commands when the front door intercom is pressed. The level of programming tied to this system event is limitless.

Here is a possible scenario for your client.

When the guest rings the video intercom station at the front gate or door, the Switch Automation touchscreens automatically switch to display an intercom image. The guest presses the answer button to begin two-way communication with your client. Pressing the entry button initiates a series of events:

• Door strike is released at front gate
• Front gate lights turn on
• Garden lights turn on to show the path to the house
• Entry water feature starts to impress the guest
• Front door strike is timed to be released as the guest arrives
• Entry, path and garden lighting is gradually switched off in their wake
• Switch Automation touch-screens revert back to their previous state
