As a post-CEDIA special we are pleased to announce for a very limited time the CEDIA 2012 Switch Training. This special training program will be held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and comes with a SG2 Gateway complete with full compliment of software licences to use in your demonstration facility.  This total bundle is valued at more than $3600 and is availble to the first 30 applicants for $1200. 

The course will cover a range of skills in including using Switch Builder to program both home automation projects and larger multi residential automation projects. The course also includes energy management and how to connect energy monitoring equipment into the system. You will learn how to take data collected by Switch Automation and get feeds from the cloud to display in green building dashboards.

Another CEDIA show wrapped up and despite the smaller number of exhibitors, the show was all quality from the exhibitors to the attendees. In our corner the Switch Automation stand was a real hive of activity for all three days and the guys at Push were non stop also. Congratulations to the small hardworking crew over that CEDIA on a grand show.

Switch Automation will be at CEDIA 2012 at the Brisbane convention centre from the 9th to the 11th of May 2012.  The theme of this year’s stand is “Safe and sound in the cloud”.  We are focusing on how cloud based home automation can make your home or building  future proof as well as offering you new features that will help you protect your home even when you're far away. As part of our goal to provide continuous improvement to our platform Switch Automation is pleased to announce the release of our new Switch Automation 1.4.

We have worked extensively on the platform to provide a significant step forward. To give you a bit of an idea of the numbers, the touch screen interface has had over 150 improvements.  Around 170 driver updates have been made and the iPad has had nearly 80 upgrades.
