The purpose of this email is to explain some changes in our channel to market for the Switch Cloud Platform.
Most of you are aware that we have undergone a complete redevelopment of Switch to migrate ourselves to a cloud based platform over the past two years and we are now into an early stage commercialisation phase.
This migration to the cloud has caused not only a change in technical architecture but also a different business model with significant changes in our pricing. These changes to our pricing mean that we no longer support accounts so shortly you will see a new ecommerce site as part of our website.
We have appointed a number of Premium Partners as part of the new distribution model. These Premium Partners have skills that assist Switch in the sales and engineering design process. Both Switch and our Premium Partners will be looking for companies that can assist in the delivery of these projects. Please let me know if you are interested in working with our Premium Partners and I will introduce you.
Peter Rake has accepted a role heading up our Global training program, we have recently trained a company from Singapore and next week we will be training a company based in the Middle East. Peter is also managing our distribution in Australia and he will be assisted by Mick Lavery. Between Peter and Mick, they will be directly responsible for our integrator channel so they may contact you in this capacity.
We have run a pilot round of training courses and will be publishing a National Training Schedule shortly. If you are interested in training then please email your name and the preferred location to me and I will put you on the list so you can be notified of training in your area.
