Switch Automation MeeGo interface

Switch Automation is pleased to announce a user interface for the MeeGo platform.

The MeeGo UI is controlling the Switch Automation Energy Management and Control System via the cloud, allowing the user to view energy gauges, sensors, environmental conditions, weather and motion jpeg cameras as well as control lighting, security systems and other IOs from anywhere in the world.  The system tracks usage on 15 minute intervals to generate rich and detailed historical data on all connected subsystems.

Switch Automation plans to release the MeeGo interface for anyone using both MeeGo tablets and Switch Automation in their buildings. The app will soon be available through the Intel AppUp store.

Demonstrated here are two Evolve III tablets using Intel Atom Oak Trail processors.  The first is a 7” unit running the Z650 chip, while the second is a 10” unit running the Z670.  These tablets may become available for use as a dedicated low cost switch interface but at the moment the hardware on display is pre-release.
