Last week our CEO, Deb Noller, flew all the way across the Pacific Ocean for a very special occasion. Destination: Melbourne. For the Australian Information Industry Association [aiia] iAwards. This awards program recognizes the most impactful digital innovations of the year.
After winning the State iAward for Industrial and Primary Industries, we set our sights on the national stage and brought in the big boss to do what she does best—explain how Switch Automation helps people manage buildings better to save time, money and resources.
With a great founder story, global growth, amazing customers leading the way in smart buildings and an unparalleled end-to-end software solution for portfolio management, we genuinely get excited to tell our Switch story.
But what would the judges think?
Awards night came.
There were tons of interesting, smart people, representing innovative ideas from all around Australia.
The emcee took the stage and reinforced what a special night it was.
And one by one, the winners of each category took the stage to receive their trophy.
When they got to ‘Accelerator of the Year’ Award, a premiere honor of the night, we knew that the judges did indeed get just as excited about the Switch story as we do. And so we again set our sights on the national stage.
We are honored to have received such a prestigious award. One that comes with a $50,000 prize to further develop one of our business projects. Stay tuned to find out the creative idea we have for the prize grant!
Congrats to all of our fellow innovators and thanks to iAwards for a very special occasion indeed.
