Switch Automation Introduces Intel Market Ready Solution

About Switch

Building the Digital Foundation for Better Building Operations

Switch Automation helps building owners, operators and facilities teams connect building systems, improve operational visibility and transform building data into actionable intelligence.

Who We Are

Switch Automation founded in Australia in 2012, has spent more than a decade helping organizations modernize building operations through open technology, data-driven insights and intelligent automation.

Today, the Switch platform supports thousands of buildings across multiple countries, helping some of the world's largest organizations improve performance, reduce energy consumption and prepare for the future of building operations.

Our Mission

To help organizations digitize, optimize and automate building operations.

We believe buildings should be easier to operate, more efficient to manage and better equipped to support sustainability, occupant experience and business outcomes.

By connecting systems, organizing data and enabling intelligent operations, we help organizations unlock the full value of their built environments.

Switch supports organizations across multiple industries and regions, including:

The Problem We Solve

Buildings generate enormous amounts of operational data, yet much of that information remains trapped in disconnected systems. As a result, facilities teams often spend their time reacting to issues rather than proactively improving performance.

Switch was created to solve this challenge. Our platform provides the digital foundation required to connect building systems, create operational visibility and enable smarter decision-making at scale.

Disconnected Systems

Building data sits in dozens of isolated platforms BMS, meters, sensors, and FM tools with no unified view.

Reactive Operations

Without continuous visibility, teams respond to problems after the fact rather than preventing them.

The Switch Solution

A vendor-neutral data foundation that connects everything, normalizes operational data and enables proactive, intelligent operations.

Existing Systems First

Connect your existing BMS, HVAC, lighting, meters, IoT devices and enterprise systems—without costly rip-and-replace projects.

Open & Vendor-Neutral

Avoid vendor lock-in with an open platform that integrates technologies from multiple manufacturers into one connected ecosystem.

Built to Scale

From a single building to global portfolios, Switch grows with your organization while providing consistent operational visibility across every site.

Built for the Real World

We understand that most organizations cannot replace every building system to become "smart."

That's why Switch was designed to work with existing infrastructure.

Our open and vendor-neutral approach allows organizations to modernize operations without creating technology silos or vendor lock-in. Whether managing a single campus or a global portfolio, Switch helps organizations build a practical path toward digital transformation.

Our Leaders

Switch is committed to advancing the smart building industry through open standards, interoperability and collaboration. Our team actively contributes to industry initiatives and supports approaches that help organizations build flexible, scalable and future-ready technology ecosystems.

We believe the future of building operations depends on trusted data, open architectures and intelligent automation.
